Winds of Change!

Our neighbor, New Mexico, has just passed legislation that protects children from “lunch shaming” in schools for the entire state. Feed the Future Forward applauds New Mexico and we challenge Texas and the rest of the U.S. to follow suit. House Bill 2159 is in the Texas legislature right now and we are headed in the right direction so children in Texas will never eat alternative lunches again. FTFF is not slowing down!

FTFF is proud to start the school year off with donations to 2 awesome lunch programs. Spring Branch ISD continues its Lunch Buddies Program to help ensure all students receive full, hot, nutritious lunches while attending school. FTFF loves its district! A donation of $2,500 was made at the start of school to help those deserving students. Cy-Fair ISD also continues the Lunch Superhero Fund in its district. FTFF End-of-Year Report

FTFF celebrates another fantastic year helping feed our students in the Houston area. FTFF ended the year by visiting 2 more schools. . . Klein’s Mueller and HISD’s Whittier Elementary Schools.  Thank you Principals Holecek and Lueptow for all you do for your students!  FTFF then made $2,000 in donations to Spring Branch’s and Cy-Fair’s lunch programs, the Lunch Buddies in SBISD and the Lunch Superhero Program in Cy-Fair ISD. FTFF visits 2 HISD Schools and gets ready for Lunch Angels Charity Golf Tourny!
